Among Cantonese dishes, desserts are among the most popular.
For 40 years, Shu Liu Shan has been a leading bakery in Hong
Kong. Now, authentic Cantonese desserts can be enjoyed closer
to home in Taipei. The pastry chefs are from Hong Kong and
produce a wide variety of fruit sundaes, juices, puddings
and cakes. The most popular items in the Hong Kong-based Shu
Liu Shan are the mango sundae and coconut sundae (NT$150).
These are sure to be as popular here, as they are made with
real mango or coconut and two scoops of mango or coconut flavored
ice cream, making them a great summertime treat.--By Selena
