When talking about where to eat Korean food in Taipei, one street immediately springs to mind. XiNing South Road in Hsimenting contains a cluster of Korean restaurants, and thus has become known as "Korea Town." Each of the Korean restaurants found here has a different style. One such place is Korean Taste Restaurant run by Ms. Chang. This establishment is quite small, containing only six tables. But, there is a cozy, homelike feel to it. The menu contains about 20 items, all homemade. These include kimchee hot pot (NT$200), barbecue with rice (NT$220), deep-fried squid (NT$200), stir-fried pickled vegetables (NT$200) and grilled steak (NT$300). The owner is friendly and takes time to talk to her customers. Along with the fantastic homemade food, Korean Taste Restaurant gives the feel of eating in a Korean home.
