Due to flooding and damage by a massive typhoon, Friday's
Dun Hua Branch was forced to close. After a complete renovation,
it reopened on December 21. It is the first T.G.I. Friday's
branch to include the company's new design concepts, which
place emphasis on family groups and small social gatherings,
as well as reflect this restaurant's location in a busy commercial
district. However, loyal T.G.I. Friday's customers will be
glad to know that some of the warm, cozy Friday's atmosphere
has been preserved, and there are still a number of interesting
antiques on display. From the outside, the first thing you
will notice is the new sign spelling out FriDay'S (Food, Drink,
Service). The servers are dressed in modern, red and black
uniforms. Recommended dishes are a series of American Grills,
such as filet mignon, grilled Icelandic cod and grilled king
prawns.-By Cindy Lee
