"Still pushing down the statues,
tearing up the posters on the wall...determined to be
a punk, I'm still the same and will remain the same."
After saying farewell to its youth in 2006, 1976 officially
entered its 30th year. To celebrate this special year,
the band has released a new album, "Still The New
Wave Flow", which still genuinely expresses band
members' attitudes toward life. The album, a collection
of glam '80s rock and roll, kicks off with the song
"80s" and follows with other well-known pieces.
Although the album is filled with dance music from the
'80s, 1976 is still able to deliver its own unique style.
The album, recorded in Beijing, features lyrics, music
and playing techniques which can place it among 1976's
best work ever. Swing with "Still The New Wave
Flow", which has the potential to become rock and
roll's "new wave" in 2006.
