In order to capture the mystery and suspense of the TV series "A.S.T.", Monte Wang used accordion, tango and electronic music to create the series title song. Another track, "Loving Your Shortcomings", a New Age fold rock song, was especially made for the male lead of the series, ZhiWei Fan, and his character "Hedgehog". The music is accompanied by guitar, filling it with sunshine. The song "In Front of the Prophecy" is the first time Monte Wang has experimented with hip-hop, expressing a certain coolness and detachment. Worth mentioning is the fact that, apart from creating a series of interesting tunes in different styles, Monte Wang has also tried lyric writing for the first time. In this album, every song contains snippets from the TV series and the music brings to life the dark humor of this comedy program. Listening to this album is a bit like watching an interesting suspense-thriller detective movie.
