Everything started when Galaxie 500 disbanded. Damon & Naomi had been working together for a very long time, bringing us several records that are worth savoring, like the fine creamy foam on top of your coffee. This album is a collaboration between them and the Japanese psychedelic folk band Ghost. The music takes you on a fine audio journey. From the first song, "mirro phase", Damon & Naomi takes you by the hand for a walk along grassy knolls while they recite poetry, walking deep into the valleys while Naomi speaks. The feeling is as soothing as dipping your bare feet into a cool stream. Damon adds a note of melancholy while Ghost's guitar and keyboard music is relentless. Listeners will discover that this is a musical drama, although no words are exchanged between Damon & Naomi. Words are unnecessary, as listeners will be able to see the exchange through the music. After Galaxie 500 disbanded, Damon & Naomi visited Taiwan early last year and planted the first seed of this album, a seed that grows soft and sweet and brings back memories.
