Gods of the alternative and very dark industrial dance movement of the 1980's, the 1990's saw the band do little worth noting. Their first full album in eight years, it shockingly mixes in mid 90's drum'n'bass and horror of horrors to purists, rap. However, it is a well-crafted atmospheric mix of old Puppy industrial grind with newer and slightly chippier dance hooks. As dance music for the clinically depressed, Skinny Puppy is still worth checking out.
