Bare/
Annie Lennox/ BMG
This new CD comes a full ten years after Lennox's last one
"Diva." It contains 11 songs and displays her talents
as both a singer and composer. Her singing can be seen to
have made great improvements. The CD can be called a soul
album because it is heavily influenced by US soul music. In
all, the music provides full expression to the artists' inner
feelings.

Hail
to the Thief/Radiohead/ EMI
Of this live album lead singer Thom says "this album
has its dark side but it is actually bright and shiny."
We Suck Young Blood" talks about the spiritual price
of selling sex. "Sail to the Moon,"with its layers
of guitar and piano, expresses his hopes for his infant child.
On "Myxomatosis," Thom Yorke eerily calm vocals
cleverly expresses his anger at lying politicians.

Stranger/
Tanya/ Warner
This album has a strong modern and urban feel. It features
mainly Tanya's own work, providing room for Tanya's unqique
creative abilities while meeting the need for commerciality.
Apart from her own work, she also does a cover of David Tao's
"Beach" in a blue jazz style. The album's Tanya-written
songs take the listener into the abyss that is love.
