Jennifer
Lopez /This is Me...Then/ Sony
J Lo's "This Is Me" is Columbia's all-new edition
of Jennifer Lopez's groovy sounds in Hip Hop, R&B, Pop
& Latino. The first number, "Jenny From the Block"
is rhythmetic and adapted from KRS-One's "South Bronx"
and The Peanuts' "Watch Out". Two of the hottest
rappers, Jadakiss and Stles, from the group The Lox, jam along
with the diva. Jennifer dedicated "Dear Ben" to
the love of her life. She teamed up with Fried Chicken's Nas
and gives us "I'm Gonna Be Alright". "All I
Have" is a cool duet beetween J Lo and rapper LL Cool
J.

PE'
Z/Kugatsu No Sola/September Sky/Virgin
Pe' Z plays the entire gamut, varying between Swing, Acid
Jazz, Jazz Rock, Bossa Nova, Hip Hop and other styles. There's
a cool sound from the organ and you also hear DJ Scratch.
Alternating between four and eight beats and accompanied by
pulsating drums, this album really rocks. "The Black
Skyline" and "Peach ¡V Ashihara Story" are two
of the many songs that really exemplify the 40s feel on this
album.

Wu
Bai & China Blue/Winter's Fire/Magicstone
Disc One features 16 songs, many of them golden hits from
the past 10 years. Eight of them were specially written by
Wu for Asia's most outstanding singers and specially re-arranged
for this release. Disc Two is a live-concert recording --
the band's third live album -- and you can almost feel the
electrifying air and the audience's excitement when you listen
to the songs on this disc. Listeners should get a buzz from
this one.
