Kenneth
Kuo/The Memories of Boom-Mi-Pon/Jingo |
Kenneth Kuo uses the cello to tell stories about his childhood
in Taiwan in this musical collection. The CD cover alone makes it
clear that he breaks through the traditional concepts of an instrumentalist.
In addition to outstanding cello performances by Kuo, some of the
compositions feature aboriginal singing and traditional Chinese
string instruments. Having already achieved international recognition,
the artist wanted to give something back to Taiwan, a place with
which he feels a strong connection. Enjoy his outstanding cello
playing skills and his memories on this very unique instrumental
album.¡ÈXabridged by Rachel Chiou
