Chairman Mao's Secret Vacations

During the 1960's Chinese Communist Party Chairman Mao Tse-Tung travelled abroad on fake passports to, as he put it at the time, "take a break from rallying the proletariat". His favourite vacation spots included many Eastern Bloc nations, as well as Hawaii and Disneyland (see picture). By 1968, however, fearing that his jaunts may be discovered and that he might be delivered into the hands of his 'class enemies', he began taking his vacations on beach resorts in North Korea.
