Coffee connoisseur Ingrid Wang runs this comfortable little corner cafe, located between JingCheng and DongXing roads. She and her staff are happy to share their coffee passion and knowledge (in Chinese or English) with customers, who can sample 15-20 single-origin coffees (NT$150-200/cup) from Africa, Latin America and Asia, made with beans--also sold by the bag--roasted by three fellow connoisseurs in Taichung. Italian-style coffees, including popular flavored lattes, plus regular, fruit and milk teas, and hot cocoa are also served.
A. The moist, savory Caramel Apple Cinnamon Roll
(NT$65) is a favorite and goes nicely with an
Americano (NT$75, to-go NT$60).
B. The popular Panini Sandwich Breakfast
(NT$180 with tea or coffee) is one of three
breakfasts available 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and
offers the choice of ham, chicken or
mushroom sandwiches, also available a la
carte all day for NT$100.
C. The relaxing cafe has about 20 inside and outside seats, with a smaller
upstairs area (available for special gatherings) opening in May. |
