The front section of this charming, attractive, multipurpose store is a clothing shop, with an exquisite cafe in the back and a hair salon on the second floor. Tree offers a variety of single-origin gourmet coffees, special blend coffees, vegetable and fruit juices, light meals, waffles and other items. Thai Roasted Chicken Salad (NT$160)--Chicken thigh meat is first marinated with Italian herbs and soy sauce, roasted, arranged atop lettuce in a salad bowl with tomatoes and a hard-boiled egg, and drizzled with refreshing Thai sweet-and-spicy dressing. Tree Coffee cups hold fragrant cappuccinos.

A signature dish here, French Toast (NT$150), has two thick pieces of toast dipped in white sauce, filled with ham, sprinkled generously with cheese, and toasted till crispy.

The walls of this cozy shop are covered with European street scenes hand-painted by owner Ms. Xie's cousin.
