The corner Caffe Frutta is a clean-looking, simple, white building with a grassy lawn right at its entrance. This is a good venue for weekday brunches and teatimes, or weekend family gatherings, with light meals including the Beef Fort sandwich (NT$100), Tuna Panini (NT$85), Smoked Chicken Sandwich (NT$80), plus handmade or flavored coffees (NT$65-120), juices, herbal teas (NT$65-105), desserts and deep-fried finger foods (NT$70-100). --By Niang Chen, translated by Erica Lin

A. Rose Milk (NT$100), Orange Juice & Blood Orange Ice Cream (NT$105)--French Rose Milk is added to classic cafe latte, giving it an appealing, light-pink tinge, while the mix of Italian Blood Orange Juice and a scoop of Italian ice cream is a fun combination.
