This
new cafe, located just around the corner from Tswen Chung
Street and Papa Mio Italian Restaurant (whose owner gives
the cafe a thumbs-up) looks nice enough from the outside.
However, it is the interior that is really striking, with
a cool, quiet, modern decor that is pleasant and soothing.Specializing
in high-end siphon-made coffees, Bianca offers Italian-style
coffees like the NT$120 ristretto or the NT$130 cappuccino
and more special creations, like coffee with lavender or rosebud.
There are various imported European and Chinese teas, like
Earl Grey, apple, and fresh kumquat, starting at NT$150. Herbal
teas come in flavors like dried chicory, mint and violet.
From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 to 9 p.m., there are set lunches
and dinners available, including items like Roasted Drumstick
with Orange Sauce (NT$230) and Fried Short Ribs (NT$250),
that come with rice, soup, beverage and dessert. Available
all day are three types of lasagne, cheese rice dishes, soups
and desserts. Bianca has another.
