This is a teahouse that you will easily find
yourself going to again and again. Passing by, you can't help but
notice it, due to its attractive ancient style. Inside, the decor
is of solid wood, with beautiful paintings covering the walls.
The sunlight shining in through the windows, the fragrant aroma
and the melodious music in the background quickly help to take away
the frustrations of the day.
The Lotus Room prides
itself on the quality of its food and drinks. I don't think you
will find another place where the longan tea is quite as good. If
you like good quality Chinese tea, you must try the Tieh Kuan Yin
tea. Mr. Huang, the owner of The Lotus Room, has been studying cha
tao (tea art, as in the Chinese tea ceremony) for more than 20 years.
He is very knowledgeable about the cultivation, quality and processing
of Tieh Kuan Yin tea.
Other kinds of tea include
herbal and fruit teas (NT$150-NT$200) and tea slushes (NT$50-NT$80).
In addition, The Lotus Room serves snacks that you probably won't
find at any other teahouse. Try the egg wraps, which are rolled-up
fried egg with both a sweet and salty taste.In this age of fast-paced
living, The Lotus Room is a place to collect your thoughts and revive
your spirit.
