It's getting to the point where it is hard to keep track of all the new IS Coffee outlets opening in central Taiwan. Residents and students around Tunghai University will be happy for this sizable new outlet, located in the heart of Tunghai Peihshu (villa), the college town at the top of the hill (to the left of Taichung Kang Rd.). IS full of special deals, including six breakfast options, available until 10:30 a.m. and costing around NT$70. There are also six types of bagels, available for NT$60 (NT$80 with cream cheese) and a variety of sandwiches ranging from the NT$130 BLT (bacon, lettuce, tomato) to the NT$160 Club. Other deals include the NT$150 soup-sandwich-coffee offers (11:30 a.m.-8:30 p.m.) and the tea time (2-5:30 p.m.) coffee and cake, panna cotta or waffle special.
