No, we didn't mistakenly run the same 'What's New' item two months in a row. Not long after the opening of Halhali's first coffee house on Taichung Harbor Road, the chain has followed up with a much larger (over 100 pings) outlet not too far away on Ying Tsai Road that is open 24 hours a day. As in its initial city branch, the cafe offers a wide variety of hot and iced coffees and coffee drinks, such as iced frappes, plus teas and juices. There are very tasty, sizable ham, lettuce and other sandwiches, including one variety made with a good squid-ink bread, and two breakfast specials available until 11 a.m. Halhali's most unique feature is its free delivery services--made to any location within 10 minutes' drive of the cafe. Just call and order. To get to Halhali's new branch (the other is opposite Sogo Dept. Store), head downtown on Taichung Harbor (Taijunggang) Road and turn left on Ying Tsai Road and it's on the left, less than 100 meters away.
