Frog Jr. Bagels (Tunghai Hsimenting Branch)

Located in the Bieshu area

With three floors, wide open airy spaces, sofas, a wide drinks menu, cheap prices and good food this Frog Jr. is a great place to relax and talk away the evening with friends.

Located in the Tunghai Bieshu area in the rapidly growing "Hsimenting" zone, Frog Jr. is a must for anyone living in that end of town.

The decor is nice and quite comfortable.  The sofas in particular make one want to stay a little longer.

There is an impressive and inexpensive drinks menu, with something for every taste and including a full pub range of alcoholic drinks for late night visits.  Particularly impressive to me is the NT$80 can of Boddingtons Beer and the NT$30 cup of coffee.

The food is good as well, better than I expected in fact.  The bagels and sandwiches are also reasonably priced, and offer several varieties that will warm the heart of many a foreigner including salmon and cream cheese bagels.  At NT$35 for a bagel, or NT$70 for a bagel sandwich - this is some of the best priced western food in town.  One recommendation; be sure to specify the type of bagel you want when ordering.
