These "green" shoes, using
material from recycled plastic
bottles, bring earth-friendly
concepts to mind.

The spots on the sole come
from the use of old-shoe
material, making these shoes
even more fashionable.

"fye" stands for "for your earth" and was a brand name for shoes developed by its Taiwanese owner and a French designer. "Love the earth and protect the environment" is their design concept and theme and they produce fashionable, casual environmentally-friendly shoes. The surface of the shoe faces are made out of material from recycled PET bottles, the uppers are made from organic cotton, and the soles are recycled from old shoes with rubber. In 2010, this business began selling its products in Europe, where they are popular. Its first Taichung store was established along the Calligrapy Greenway in 2012. These shoes are soft like cotton and some are like flannel, with a simple style, various unique features, and durable soles. New products are also introduced each season. A variety of styles, including sporty, casual male and female, are sold with basic versions starting from NT$1,580.
