Everything in this shop--stools, a bridal sedan chair, folding screens, tables and chairs--is a recycled item collected by owners Wang Tien-chuan and Cheng Yu-hua, who are enthusiastic about retro-style, nostalgic things. Old House Old Tree is a place where those with similar interests can exchange ideas about creativity, education and culture, or join activities such as flower-arranging and language classes and history-related storytelling times. This also serves as Jeremy Lin's central Taiwan fan club. Every Saturday (6-8 p.m.) there is buffet dinner with Taiwanese cuisine such as duck, free-range chicken and pork (NT$200/person) and low-caffeine coffee and tea drinks are available at other times.
