Located on a little alley off GongZheng Road, Wilsen Publishing is a small publisher that develops books to improve one's English abilities, as well as a bookstore specializing in unique English books, greeting cards and stationery. Although it imports most of its books and cards from overseas, Wilsen bookstore also buys and resells used books.
Owner and publisher Jenny Wilsen, who previously worked for publishing giant Simon & Schuster in New York City, says she loves the idea of in-store browsing--to walk into a store and find a great book or cute greeting card. In an age of instant gratification, where everything is one mouse click away, it's refreshing to find a bookstore off the beaten path in Taichung that carries a great selection of books.
