Taiwan's largest fashion outlet mall has opened in Taichung, in a completely renovated multipurpose building on the corner of ZiYou and ShuangShi roads, opposite the Taichung Park. The upscale, 2,000-ping Sunshine Plaza has a sizable number of shops selling about 100 famous brand names for an average of 30% below outside prices, targeted at 20 to 45-year-old males and females. These include Brooks Brothers, Calvin Klein, Guess, Gap, Banana Republic, American Eagle, DKNY, Hush Puppies, Travel Fox, Timberland, MAX & Co., MaxMara, Coach, Reply, Odbo, and Burberry. A. Famous model Novia Lin was one of the first customers to shop at the Brooks Brothers outlet on Sunshine Plaza's first floor.
