Behind a bright golden front door here, glittering, translucent lazurite dazzles the eye and glows from a deep black background. The turmoil and chaotic noise from the street outside is soothed away by the luster of lazurite. Ancient Chinese workmanship is given a new life by Ms. Yang Hui-shan's team. Embued with religious themes, the hues and textures of every creation grab attention and admiration from most customers. Nevertheless, these elegant works of art are not necessarily expensive. There are three systems for distinguishing features: TMSK, which means transparent thinking, "promoting life aesthetics" and utilizing complex materials to create everyday ornaments, accessories and furnishings at prices starting NT$350. GNPS, focusing on a single concept, offers reminders with every touch and starts at NT$3,600. The parent Liu Liu Gong Fang workshop's works start at NT$1,500 and surpasses the usual boundaries of creativity. From the moment of creation, these art works and gifts are full of significance and meaning, communicating traditional Chinese spirit from a remote and distant cultural heritage.
