"It's our goal to provide a private space for our guests to totally relax their bodies and souls in," Pissarro Spa's Manager Li explains. This place has a lush, tree-lined location right next to the HuaMei Street canal near TaiZhongGang (Taichung Kang) Road. A big glass door welcomes guests and allows lots of sunlight to flow in. Inside, one first comes to the carpeted, spacious reception room, where various natural products for body, face, hand and foot treatments from Germany, Italy and France are displayed on shelves. Without a doubt, the spa is designed to pamper customers with six experienced and eager-to-serve beauticians. Two programs here deserve special note--the German organic oil treatment for pregnant women, and the French-style crystal nail painting. There are a total of six private rooms on the ground floor and basement level. A first-floor room is solely reserved for couples, with two beds and a private bathroom. The other five basement rooms cater to female customers only. There is also a reading area with lots of magazines and a dressing area with cosmetic products available for one's convenience. All this makes Pissarro an ideal place for a personal pampering.
