Making
your headache disappear in just five minutes...without
pills

Thousands of years ago, Egyptians used
various plant extracts and oils in various forms, including
inhalation, soaking, bathing and massage, to create
positive effects on the body, mind and soul. We now
know this as a form of aromatherapy.
Modern-day humans are constantly under negative stresses
from work and environment. Incorrect postures and stress
cause muscular tension, so that many people take aspirin
and other painkillers to ease these symptoms. In the
long run, however, overuse of medication can easily
cause strain on our internal organs and, thus, is not
a good strategy.
It is possible to let your body experience
a most natural, gentle re-awakening through the use
of organic plant materials. When you experience the
onset of a headache, you can try pressure point massaging
as a treatment. First, massage your forehead and temples
for five minutes, then place two fingers on the middle
of your forehead at your hairline and gently massage
all the way down to your temples on both sides. Use
your thumb to massage the pressure point behind your
ears, while your other fingers continue to massage the
back of your head. Do this for three to five seconds
continuously, then relax for two seconds and repeat
for up to 10 times.
If your headache has not lifted by
now, you can try using pure plant extracts such as peppermint,
lavender, rosemary, eucalyptus and other aromatherapy
roll-ons to help ease the pain. However, it is best
to use extracts that are pure and untouched by pollution,
such as wild organic plants that have not been affected
by pesticides.
Remember, just a tiny amount will do. For headaches
and migraines, just dab along your hairline and your
temples. After a few minutes, the oils will slowly warm
up and provide you with a cooling sensation as you will
gradually experience their soothing effects. This is
excellent for people who are constantly under stress,
have nervous tension or experience physical and mental
fatigue, as well as those who often have headaches.
If you're still taking medication for your headaches,
why not go the natural route and try aromatherapy for
a change? |
