Have you ever wondered where the perfect, attractive, glossy images on your calendars, catalogs, posters and advertisements come from? If the item in question originated in Taiwan over the past couple decades, there's a decent chance that many of those amazing images originated right here in Taichung, where Sincere Photo Studio & Design House has been based since 1978.

Founded by veteran professional photographer and company President Tim T.H. Ku, Sincere has grown to become one of the biggest photo/design houses, not only in Taiwan but in this entire Asian region. Over the years, the firm has gained an outstanding reputation among a vast range of local and foreign clients for its commercial photography and design. Products include wall and desktop calendars, catalogs, brochures, posters, packaging, memo pads, books, even puzzles and packs of playing cards. Step into the company's showroom and you'll see an amazing array of products--all beautifully produced, naturally--lining the walls and shelves.

Back in November, Sincere relocated to an attractive, brand-new, 350-ping facility where staff--including five full-time in-house photographers--work with professional facilities that includes four fully-equipped studios ranging in size up to 100 pings, or about 300 square meters. That allows Sincere plenty of space and flexibility to shoot images of items ranging in size from the smallest pieces of jewelry up to cars, furniture, bicycles, gym equipment and entire home furnishing arrangements. Studios are also available for rental to outside users.

The photographers frequently head into the field to shoot at outside locations, including culture-related assignments like museums, art collections and handicrafts. With its years of experience, the company also can handle related details, such as the arranging of models. Once the images are ready, Sincere often sees the process through to completion, handling design and printing. Other distinctions include the staff's friendly down-to-earth attitude, which starts from the top with the President Ku and Vice General Manager James Wong, and the ability to communicate in English and Japanese.

For companies and other clients looking for some of Asia's best photo and design solutions, there's little need to look elsewhere. While everyday consumers may not ever personally require Sincere's professional services, they will no doubt continue to benefit from the printed beauty created by this studio for many years to come.
