       Water-like is the biggest bookstore specializing in Mainland China books in Central Taiwan. It contains books from over 200 mainland publishing companies and a variety of CD and DVDs. You can see from the piles of new books to your right as you enter that every month the shop stocks a large number of new books. The price of the books is 5.8 times the mainland fixed price for non-members. If you spend over NT$2000 in one day you will be given free membership for one year and be able to purchase books for 5X their mainland price.VCDs are NT$72 each or 3 for NT$199. There are ten subjects to choose from, including Peking opera, martial arts and drama. There are also two shelves of books of foreign classics translated by the respected Beijing Commercial Press, from just NT$25 to NT$250.The fourth on the Waterlike best seller list is the "Tibet Yak Hide Book" (Zang Di Niu Pi Shu) which allows you to experience the mysteries of Tibet for NT$300.
