This very exclusive-looking jade boutique was recently opened by Mr. Yang Hsing-han who is easily one of the most qualified individuals to operate such a business in Taichung, owning a jade-cutting plant in Thailand and specializing in Burmese jade.  What is very unique about the Jade Collection is the fact that one of Mr. Yang's main goals is to educate buyers, local and foreign, on fine jade and how to identify it.  He offers free classes to any individual or group that is interested, noting that his participants must only have a sense of beauty and taste and not be color blind.  Of course, for those wanting to purchase outstanding jade pieces, this is also the place to come.  Jade Collection is located right next to Joric German Deli, just off of Ching Cheng Road.
