This very large do-it-yourself and home decorations store opened in lateDecember and features a huge variety of home-related items, including kitchen and dining ware, tools, construction materials, furniture, curtains and rugs, paints, appliances and much more. Navigation around the store is assisted by English/Chinese-labeled departments and helpful assistants who can also provide DIY tips. The 1,200-ping complex includes a large attached Sinon supermarket and Onking electronics store and there is plenty of parking on the roof. To get there from downtown, take Shuangshih Road (the Confucius Temple road) towards the train station and turn left onto Ching Wu Road just before Taichung Park. Take Ching Wu about two kilometers, through and underpass and to the river, where a right turn is taken onto Han Hsi West Road, followed by, almost immediately, another right. Alternately, take Taiyuan Rd. out of town towards Taichung International Golf Course. Just after the railroad underpass, turn right onto Han Hsi W. Rd. just before the first bridge and go about 1.5 kilometers.
