The well-known American hardware, do-it-yourself wholesale store has opened its doors in Taichung at a location near Feng Chia University and Hsitun Road. On the inside and outside, this large attractive store looks like it was picked up in States and dropped, completely intact, into Taichung. About 14,000 different products (about 60 percent imported from the US) are featured on two floors and 730 pings of space, including DIY items, home decorations, kitchen and dining ware, car care products, pet food and a large greenhouse section with orchids, tulips and dozens of other plants. The interior is well-lit and well-organized, making for a pleasant shopping experience. Parking is available on the third-floor roof and ground floor. To get there, go directly out Feng Chia University's gate, through two traffic lights, and it's on the right. Alternately, turn onto Feng Chia Road from Chinghai Road and it's on the left.
