There are plenty of folks who are looking for a late-night hangout where they can enjoy not only a cocktail or other drink, but perhaps something to eat or a coffee. This establishment checks off all those boxes nicely.

The relaxing setting here includes jazz, hip hop and other background music, crescent mural walls that literally resemble a giant's arm, and soft, comfy sofas where visitors can unwind after a long day. Many of the customers here relate to each other like old friends, chatting casually with the owner by the bar, while others casually chill in a corner with their mobile phones and other electronic gadgets.

For those feeling hungry, this intimate-feeling place also serves up a number of homemade delicacies, including various pasta entrees (NT$190-300) like the appetizing Garlic Spicy Seafood, cooked with garlic, olive oil and Italian spices, all stirred up with chewy spaghetti. Other dishes (NT$100-250), such as Rosemary Fried Chicken Leg, and Classic Fried Chicken and French Fries, made with deep-fried chicken nuggets rolled in seasonings and flour, pair great with cocktails and other alcoholic beverages.

Cocktails include Summer Beach (NT$200), with the tangy flavors of Blue Curacao and gin that leave a spicy, refreshing aftertaste on the tongue tip, an absinthe-infused Martini, and the classic Bloody Mary. If you don't see your favorite cocktail on the menu, the bartender is happy to customize your very own whiskey cocktail (from NT$200). Various beers are served, too.

With all this available, this simple but comfortable late-night bar does wonders for recharging the body and mind, while providing a quieter space to enjoy with friends or alone.
