An exclusive-feeling lounge for those who enjoy the finer things in life, Ligero is attached to Mirage Club on the top floor of Bodhi Palace. Manager Eddy Yang offers nothing but the best, from Gouden Carolus Classic Belgian beer (NT$1,100 large bottle) to the Cristal Brut 2004 (NT$18,000) champagne. There are also NT$200 teas and coffees. For food, several entrees like Hainan Chicken Rice can be ordered up from Justin Bistro downstairs before 9 p.m. and a variety of pastas, fried snacks and other items are available all evening. --By Douglas Habecker, translated by Angel Pu

A. This lounge oozes high-end class and luxury with beautiful, comfortable leather armchairs, oil paintings, subdued lighting and relaxing music.

B. Customers can browse through Ligero's big walk-in humidor/wine cellar, fully stocked with 20-plus, mostly-Cuban brands and plenty of high-end alcohol.

Ligero Cigar LoungeC. A favorite hang-out for some customers is an outdoor balcony with four seats. A private room comfortably seating eight can also be booked (NT$10,000 minimum charge).
