Mirage occupies the entire 12th floor of Bodhi Palace mall's (ex-Idee Dept. Store) building and is truly on its way to becoming Taichung's all-purpose nightlife solution. Besides the enormous, 196-seat main bar and lounge area, an adjacent sizable cigar room with walk-in humidor and separate sports bar are also scheduled to open as early as March. Large circular sofa areas hold about 10 people and come with a minimum NT$8,000 charge.

The main lounge area includes plenty of sofa seating, a long marble bar, stage area, transparent ceiling, and glowing LED mood lighting.

Head bartender Zac poses with three of his cocktail creations: Blood & Sand, Mojito, and Pobbler. Besides a long list of cocktails (NT$300-400), there is also Heineken on tap (NT$200) and bottled Hoegaarden beer and other drinks.
