Pro 12 serves up fresh craft-brewed beer from its Hsinchu factory, plus a full matching Asian-heavy menu of entrees with favorites like Thai Shrimp Cakes (NT$230) and Singapore Fried Carrot Cake (NT$160). Located in the Canal District on the corner of HuaMei and ZhongCheng streets, Pro 12 provides a comfortable evening hang-out for warm evenings.

Patrons can order beer in giant glass-shaped 3,000cc containers (NT$720) or 500cc mugs (NT$120).

A full BBQ selection of beef, pork, fish, chicken, lamb chop and veggie options goes great with beer, like this Grilled Beef Skewer (NT$100 per stick) with big succulent chunks of savory beef with tangy tomatoes, pickles and yellow peppers. The cloudy, amber mild-flavored beer (5.6% alcohol) pleases a broad range of drinkers and will eventually be joined by other varieties.
