In the past, the owner of this trendy night spot, Xiao-Yu, spent time running the popular Mojo nightclub in Taipei. She continues that tradition with a slight change, by offering a place with a lounge bar vibe to it. The exterior here has rich, South Pacific colors and designs, with a high-ceilinged entrance and wood-column lamp posts and lights shaped like birds' nests. Sculptures, wicker chairs, wall tiles, various decorative items scattered around the lounge, even the tunes they play, are all reminiscence of Bali. Elements of nature such as water, stone and wood are incorporated into the interior design. The spacious sofa areas and the big wall projector screen also adds to the very casual, laid-back ambiance. Drink specials are offered daily, and you can choose from a range of liquors, champagnes, wines, cocktails and beers. When you get hungry, try out some of their made-to-order stir-fry dishes. --By Ann Li, translated by Ann Lee

A. Cocktail No.28 Series, the Green Fairy (NT$250), is a fruity mixed drink made with the bartender's special recipe and extremely popular with the ladies.

B. Bold colors are used in the sofa area. While watching the big projector screen, order up dishes like the Spicy Shrimp (NT$180) or Fried Chicken Roll (NT$220). Both have five-star quality and go well with your drinks.
