Barbecue theme pubs have become a well-loved trend during the last couple of years--especially when you throw in a KTV station in the corner. If you like the beer/BBQ/singing atmosphere, then you'll fit right in at A Lun's bar. And, when you get a bit tipsy, you can try out some of their quick and delicious dishes to help you return to earth.
A. Brother Bao, the owner, has made quite a name for himself in the pub business; in his cozy bar, you'll find a variety of drinks within an affordable range. The booze selection includes 12-year brandy (NT$3,200), VSOP (NT$3,500), Heineken (NT$200) and Taiwan Beer (NT$140). Being the barbecue bar that this is, guests are offered a good selection of barbecued meat kebabs, which includes beef (NT$150) and chicken (NT$120). Some other popular dishes include their hot stir-fry dishes, Hakka-style stir fries (NT$180), Matsusaka Pork (NT$180), and Bao's specially recommended dish, the Gong Bao Thousand-Year-Old Egg (NT$150), which all go well with your drink.
