INGREDIENTS:
* Vodka 2oz
* Cointreau 1oz
* Orange juice 2oz
* Grapefruit juice 3oz
* Crushed ice 60% of a full glass
* Midori 1 oz
* Lime Juice 1oz
* A cherry for decoration
* One slice of lemon |
DIRECTIONS:
First pour Midori and lime juice into the glass, so that different
layers of color appear at the base. Then mix all other alcoholic
ingredients with crushed ice in a shaker. Shake contents,
then pour into the glass. Decorate with cherry and lemon slice.
Amuse is not very big but it's definitely
filled with youthful energy and passion. Open the wine list
and you'll find a huge variety of cocktails, some familiar
and others creatively new. Manager Nana says that quite a
few of the cocktails are her establishment's own inventions
and cannot be found anywhere else. One example is this summertime
special drink, well liked by many female customers. The alcoholic
content is not too strong and it has the freshness of tropical
fruit--sweet with a hint of sourness, with added tang from
the orange peel. The appetizers are pretty good, too. All
made fresh to order at the kitchen, unlike most pubs which
buy their food from outside. A good selection of high-quality
food and good drinks makes a great combination at Amuse.
