Grooveyard is heart and soul steeped in music. Opened by two prominent locally-based musicians, this intimate venue is the perfect platform for up-and-coming new talent. The emphasis is on the experience of live original music- both for the musicians and audience. The performances not only include well-known pub bands but also reach out to include other genres like jazz, classical, aboriginal and country, making this spot a welcome new centre for all musicians and music-lovers. Grooveyard is located upstairs from Frog I in the Canal District, and is entered via the stairwell in the back on the first floor of the Frog. Beer starts at NT$120, and cocktails start at NT$180. Food can be ordered from Frog I downstairs. During some events, a cover charge is collected for the bands. Starting next month, check for upcoming performances in COMPASS Nightlife What's On listings.
