Catwalk Night Club, located on The Splendor Taichung Hotel's 12th floor, is Taichung' s only five-star hotel nightclub and comes with an international-standard dance floor, spacious and comfortable surroundings, independent wine-tasting areas, a cocktail bar and draft beer bar with plenty to choose from.

According to Catwalk Manager Dennis Lin, customers here range between 25 to 55 years old, with a 50-50 mix of foreigners and locals, who enjoy dancing the night away to Latin, salsa, rock, R&B, reggae and disco music every evening. Sometimes wild, sometimes romantic, this club provides a great entertainment venue for both in-house guests and local residents.

A large part of Catwalk's success are the exceptional house bands. True Color is a two-woman, three-man band that plays electronic music while the other band, S.A.S., is made up of three girls. Although these performers hail from a wide mix of different countries, they perform together on stage effortlessly, as their nationalities and styles all have an influence of the music. Their individual singing ability adds passion to their music and never fails to stir up audiences, which are drawn onto the dance floor. On Wednesdays, the nightclub also has a special "Foreigners' Night", with no minimum charge for foreigners. Thursdays is Ladies' Night, with no minimum charge for ladies, who get a free drink coupon. (Ladies can use these coupons on Sundays and Mondays with no minimum charge.)

Apart from great wines and cigars at Catwalk, another big draw is the international cuisine. This includes the California Cobb Salad, Spanish Roasted Garlic Soup, Moroccan Spiced Vegetables Stew with Lamb, Spaghetti with Meat Sauce, Assorted Cheese Plate, Steamed Dim Sam, Wok-fried Rice with Peanuts, Steamed Cod Fish with Black Bean Sauce, Rice Porridge with Chicken and Abalone, and Catwalk Black Gold (Mullet Fish Roe and a glass of Moet et Chandon). These great dishes are priced from NT$120 to NT$480.
