This small, laid-back pub was recently opened by Freddy Pan, a native of Vancouver, where he runs another bar with the same name. Located opposite the Dungshing Parking Tower one street over from the well-known Jing Ming 1st "Tea Street", this place is easy to find with its fun-looking monkey motif. The glass sliding doors open to a cozy place with a small bar and four tables. According to Freddy, the emphasis is on providing somewhere to relax, drink and talk without too much noise. This bar specializes in creative cocktails and shooters. In addition the NT$150 classic cocktails (like a martini or Singapore Sling), there are the NT$160 modern cocktails, with colorful names like the Dr. Pepper (which tastes like the soda), Absolut Art, Red Eye, Japanese Slipper, and Apple Martini. Shooters average NT$100 to NT$120 and include the Angels Kiss, Bubble Gum, China White, Eskimo Pie, Psycho Tsunami, Prarie Fire and other creations. Beers start at NT$150 and there are spirits, like whiskies, and a few mostly-Taiwanese snacks.
