One of America's favorite restaurant chains now has two branches in Taichung, with the November 8 opening of a new branch on San Min Road, across the street from Chung Yo Department Store. The three-floor corner restaurant has all the usual Friday's decorations and menu and seats 170 inside. In a new touch, however, there is an outdoor patio area seating a further 30 and providing a good view of the busy progression of shoppers and traffic along the road. Given the situation on San Min Road, diners might want to consider parking at the department store across the street and walking over.
