As its name implies, one of Chiang Mai Food Park's specialties is Thai-style seafood. However, the restaurant also offers a Mongolian barbecue each night, between 6 and 10 pm and costing NT$345 per person. The price for other seafood meals and dishes averages about NT$600 per person. With spacious, tropical-style gardens, grand-looking main large gate and multi-floor white edifice, the restaurant bears more resemblance to a tropical hotel. The best seating is in the gardens out back, where one can enjoy the palms, manicured lawns and plumeria trees. Chiang Mai Food Park is located just off of Wenhsin Rd, near Toys 'R Us. Heading towards Taichung Harbor Rd. on Wenhsin, turn right at the Volvo dealership just before Hsitun Rd., take the next right lane and go about 400 meters to the entrance.
