Never tried stinky tofu? Or perhaps you're a connoisseur. Either
way, there's no better place to dine than one of the island's best-known
stinky tofu restaurants, which recently opened its first Taichung
outlet. This surprisingly mild and pleasing delicacy (given its
pungent smell) is available in a wide range of about 80 stinky tofu
dishes, graded in 15 degrees of stinkiness, from fried rice to hot
pots. Just as good, this eatery prides itself in its healthy, sanitary
preparation methods.
