This relaunched restaurant has been completely revamped with an all-new mix of Indian and vegetarian delicacies prepared with healthy, safe local ingredients such as Wufeng rice, Shinhechun soy sauce, and Mingfeng handmade tofu. Chef Chan Sheng-liang, who studied at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, prepares dishes with fresh tomatoes and natural curry paste. Besides Indian cuisine, the restaurant offers dishes with a creative fusion of Indian, Chinese and other international elements, such as the aromatic Thai Flavored Mushrooms in an iron bowl mixed with sliced tofu. Ten a la carte choices include Butter Vegetables, Indian Pepper Pan-Fried Tofu, Masala, and Nuts and Indian Bean Curry, which can be ordered as part of a set meal (NT$880) with one main entree, rice, two vegetables, yogurt, and soup. Upstairs is the Indian and Taiwan Economic Association, which helps promote this restaurant's healthy eating concepts. --By Ann Li, translated by Anna Yang
