This upscale French restaurant and patisserie has a classy, but chilled-out, lounge-like ambiance with 18 inside seats plus an attractive covered outdoor garden and seating area. The French-Taiwanese owners and French chef Axel Baracassa offer a mix of southern French and Mediterranean set meals. Diners choose from a regularly-updated selection of six main entrees, like the popular Duckling Breast Fillet with an Orange Sauce served with a Green Peas Puree and Glazed Carrots (NT$1480) and Beef Filet with Black Truffle Sauce and Delicate Truffled Mashed Potatoes (NT$1680). These come with choices from among three starters (such as Perigord-Style Salad with Warm Shredded Duck Confit and Diced Bacon) and three soups, the pastry/dessert selection, and a coffee/tea drink. On the patisserie side, a wide variety of exquisite French desserts are available for dine-in and take-out, including cakes, tarts, crumbles, eclairs, macarons and homemade sorbet.
