Located in a small lane off XiTun Road, Malt Share offers over a hundred beers (NT$130-300) from around the world, whiskeys (NT$100-2,000), sake (NT$460-6,000) and a variety of international cuisine, including Italian pasta, Spanish tapas, and Padong Thai cuisine. An American diner ambiance makes this a relaxing hang-out for drinks and meals. --By Niang Chen, translated by S. Ying

A. Spicy Sicilian Spaghetti with Anchovies (NT$260 business set lunch with salad, soup) features pasta stir-fried with garlic chips, chilies, olive oil and dried fish, pairing well with an Anderson Valley Amber Ale (NT$150) from America.

B. Iberian Pork (NT$320) is made with pork cheeks marinaded, pan-fried and then baked with fresh oranges, giving it crispy skin and a tender texture. Mussels in Spicy Tomato Sauce (NT$300) is made with Matsu mussels, stewed with tomatoes, garlic and onions for a sweet, light flavor.

C. Spaghetti with Seafood and Spicy Sauce (NT$340) is made with Shaohsing wine, fermented bean curd and milk in a creative East-meets-West fusion that promises to intrigue your palate.
