There are also focaccia pizzas and star-shaped "Sweet Crustar" dessert pizzas (like Brown Sugar Matcha Mochi), plus paella, tapas, salad and snack selections, Drinks include Italian Peroni beer (NT$100), various lattes, coffees and teas. --By Douglas Habecker, translated by S. A. A tasty East-meets-West combination, the savory Beautiful Island focaccia (NT$240), pictured with a Matcha Red Bean Smoothie (NT$110), won an international competition and is topped with lobster roe sauce, sakura shrimp, mullet roe and greens.

B. Among 11 pizza flavors, the baked duck breast Caponata a Anatra (NT$220 Napoli, NT$340 Roma) is a favorite, topped with onions, peppers and broccoli. Others range from Pineapple Chicken and Borscht Beef to the spicy Diavola.

C. Tino's exudes the cosmopolitan flair of a modern Italian eatery, with 68 seats downstairs, upstairs and outside.
