This American country-style restaurant, originally located on WenXin Road, Sec. 2, has now relocated to a better address kitty-corner from Tempus Hotel. Complementing the new premises is a greatly-expanded menu adding many items--burgers, all-day brunch sets (8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.), 10-inch pizzas and calzoni (NT$320-420), 10 pasta entrees, steaks, beers and wines--to the old favorites like omelets, pancakes and sandwiches. --By Douglas Habecker, translated by S. A. One of the new brunch sets, the King Breakfast (NT$280), comes with herb chicken, crispy bacon, pineapple shrimp, and eggs, served with homemade bread. Other options include the American Breakfast, German Breakfast, and CM Light Breakfast.
B. Among seven all-new burgers, the Chili Burger (NT$280) features a juicy 180-gram (6.3 oz.) beef patty (or chicken) heaped with slightly-spicy chili, served with big savory potato wedges and a side salad.
C. Owner Erin Kuo has given the two-floor interior a classy, but homey, feeling with wallpaper, chandeliers, framed pictures and lots of yellow and pastel colors. |
