Hungry Jacob focuses on just one thing--burgers. It's good for everyone, then, that they do burgers so well, with fresh, juicy imported Australian beef cooked to medium-rare perfection. Their menu does include other items like salads, chicken wings, fried mozzarella and a seasonal soup, but these all play second fiddle to the burgers. There are 15 burgers in total, each inspired by a particular country's cuisine, like a classic bacon cheeseburger among the American choices, a caramelized-onion-and-red-wine-sauce burger for France, a kimchi-topped burger for Korea, and a guacamole burger for Mexico. Two burgers aren't part of this system--the Veggie Burger and Jumbo Burger--but all come with a side of fries, potato wedges, or a small salad as well as a drink, and an average meal is NT$250 per person. --By Ian Crews, translated by Sho Huang
